Everyday Actions
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
  • Sneeze and cough into your sleeve
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick
  • Stay home if you are sick


Social/Physical Distancing
  • Avoid close contact with people outside of your immediate family by staying at least 2 meters (6 feet) from another person 
  • Avoid close contact with the elderly or anyone who is vulnerable
    • Even though you may not be experiencing symptoms of COVD-19, you may be a carrier
  • Stay in touch with friends/family via phone and video calls or texts
