Dr. Joyce Lee was born in South Korea and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Lee graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science. During the three years at McMaster University, she was a recipient of multiple scholarships including McMaster University Entrance Award Scholarship / Ontario Scholar and Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship.
With a great interest in holistic musculoskeletal health care, she applied and was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) – a world-renown Chiropractic teaching institution. While attending CMCC, she was involved in various research projects and received the Excellence in Biomechanics Scholarship. She is currently working in the department of Graduate Studies and Research Program at CMCC.
She is a certified provider of Clinical Acupuncture, Functional Release Technique, and Kinesio Taping, and a certified Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Lee uses a wide variety of techniques and treatment options such as chiropractic manipulative therapy, acupuncture, soft tissue release therapy, and rehabilitation to offer the best treatment acute and chronic work/sports/car accident-related injuries.
