Certified Athletic Therapist
Kendra believes that education and exercise are major components to achieve ones rehab goals for a healthier lifestyle. Kendra provides excellent hands-on care and makes ‘feeling better’ an exciting journey to overall better health. Kendra is also a Certified First Responder and bracing technician, specializing in custom bracing.
As an Athletic Therapist, her skills include ART (soft tissue release), Advanced joint mobilizations, exercise prescription and massage.
Kendra is a Certified Athletic Therapist who graduated from Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (with honours) along with a minor in Biology. Kendra played four years of NCAA DII lacrosse while obtaining her degree, bringing home three conference championships and an NCAA National Tournament appearance. During her time at Limestone, Kendra had the opportunity to work with many sports teams at the high school, university and professional level. Following graduation, Kendra gained valuable experience in physiotherapy clinics with various workplaces and motor vehicle accident injuries along with every-day sprain and strains experienced by the recreational athlete in the community.
On her off days, Kendra coaches women’s lacrosse and stays active by hiking, mountain biking, and rollerblading.
